Three people remain in custody this morning after a man was injured in a shooting in Waterford.
He remains in a critical condition after being shot in the city on Monday.
This shooting happened outside a premises on the Carrickpherish Road at a quarter past 2 on Monday afternoon.
A man in his 40s was injured after being shot a number of times near the Mount Suir Apartments and was first treated at the scene by ambulance personnel.
He was then brought by ambulance to University Hospital Waterford where he's still in a critical condition.
Gardai arrested three people yesterday evening.
A 27 year-old woman and two men, aged 30 and 32 are being held at Waterford Garda Station.
