Up to three people were rescued uninjured from a housefire in Co Westmeath in the early hours of this morning.

The building was completely destroyed by the blaze, which happened in Kinnegad at around 5:30am.

Three units of Mullingar fire brigade attended the incident - and gardaí say they do not believe the cause to be suspicious.
