Gardaí are investigating after a shop on Dublin’s Henry Street was rammed by a car overnight.
The car reversed through the window and shutters of the Three Store in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí say they are investigating an incident of burglary and criminal damage at the shop.
The store is closed as a result and Three says customers can use the Mary Street store instead.
A Garda spokesperson stated:
“Gardaí are investigating an incident of burglary and criminal damage at a business premises on Henry Street, Dublin 1, Tuesday 4th July 2023.”
“The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning.”
It comes after a shop on Grafton Street was attacked in a similar fashion earlier this year.
Extensive damage was caused to the front of the Hugo Boss shop – with several high-end items allegedly stolen.
