Three students were wounded in a library on the campus of Florida State University by a gunman who was killed by campus police.
At around 12:30am this morning local time, Florida State University Police Department received a call about an armed subject at the Strozier Library.
The officers arrived at the library and located the gunman at the near entrance of the building.
Officers ordered the gunman to drop the weapon, but he fired at them.
The officers returned fire and killed the man.
All classes have been cancelled for the day.

University president John Thrasher said: "The three students who have been injured are our highest priority followed by the needs of our greater university community. We will do everything possible to assist with their recovery."
"We are increasing security measures and providing a strong law enforcement presence on and around campus today," he added.
