Irish man due in court in Australia

Irish man Barry Lyttle is due in court in Sydney again tomorrow, charged with causing grievous bodily harm to his brother.

Patrick Lyttle (31) is recovering in the intensive care unit at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney, following a single punch assault which left him in a critical condition.

Salvage operation

Salvage experts are assessing how to refloat the Hoegh Osaka after it ran aground off the Isle of Wight in one of England's busiest shipping lanes.

The pilot and master were praised by the ship's owner for "saving" the vessel and crew by grounding the ship, and showed "great skill".

Elsewhere, the search for survivors of an overturned cargo ship in North Sea will resume after it was suspended earlier today.
