Graham Dwyer trial begins
42 year old Dublin architect is to go on trial today for the murder of childcare worker Elaine O'Hara.
Graham Dwyer with an address at Kerrymount Close, Foxrock is accused of killing the 37 year old at Killakee, Rathfarnham on the 22nd of August, 2012.
A jury of 7 men and 5 women has been sworn in for the trial which is likely to last between 6 and 8 weeks.
Antrim man to appear in Australian court in connection with alleged assault on his brother
A 33 year old Antrim man appeared in court in Australia tomorrow morning, charged in connection with an alleged punch that seriously injured his younger brother.
31 year old Patrick Lyttle was allegedly punched in the head by his older brother, 33 year old Barry, following a minor disagreement outside a nightclub on January 3rd.
Patrick's condition was initially described as critical, but he has since regained consciousness and has been taken out of the intensive care unit.
Barry, who has been charged with recklessly causing grievous bodily harm, is currently on bail and is due to appear in court in the morning.
Taxi driver protest
Taxi drivers will protest in Dublin City Centre on Tuesday, from 2pm. Drivers are protesting a change in the fare structure.
The protest will start at the Papal Cross in the Phoenix Park, along the North Quays and into the city centre.
