Three young boys have died after falling through the ice at a lake in the UK.
Four children were pulled out of the water at Babbs Mill Park yesterday.
They were all in cardiac arrest when they were rescued and they were rushed to hospital.
In an update this morning, West Midlands Police said three of them, aged eight, ten and 11, “could not be revived".
A fourth boy, aged six, remains in critical condition.
A search operation is continuing at the lake this morning amid reports six people fell through the ice.
Authorities have warned it is "no longer a search and rescue operation".
Police have not yet confirmed that anyone else is missing.
West Midlands Fire Service said police and members of the public were already in the water trying to reach the children when they arrived on Sunday.
