Today will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, mainly across the northern half of the country. There will be some heavy bursts at times in parts of the west and northwest.
Rain and drizzle will be patchy across the southern half of the country, with good dry intervals and a few bright spells in the southeast.
Top temperatures of between 14C and 21C, warmest in the south and east and coolest in Atlantic coastal counties with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.
TONIGHT
Tonight will continue cloudy with further outbreaks of rain and drizzle, persistent in the west and north but patchy in the southeast.
It will be misty with some hill and coastal fog.
Staying rather mild and humid with lowest temperatures of 12C to 14C, in light to moderate south to southwesterly breezes.
