A man arrested on suspicion of the murder of Tina Satchwell has been released without charge.

The man aged in his 50s was arrested on Tuesday as the investigation was upgraded from a missing person inquiry.

The 45-year-old woman has been missing from her home on Grattan Street in Youghal, Co Cork since March 2017.

Gardaí in Midleton have said they are continuing investigations "into all the circumstances" surrounding her murder.

The search of a house on Grattan Street in Youghal is ongoing.
