A community in Co Tipperary is taking the battle against drugs into its own hands.
Approximately 1,000 people turned out last night for a public meeting on drugs in Roscrea, organised by local man Derek Russell.
He is calling on residents, gardaí, local politicians and sports groups to work together in tackling the problem after an increase in anti-social behaviour and drug-related deaths in the town.
