Gardaí investigating the death of a man at a house in Tipperary after a St Stephen's Night party have made two more arrests.

Two men aged in their 30s were arrested in the Dublin area on Monday night.

They are being detained under section 30 of the Offences against the State at a Garda station in Tipperary.

The death at the house in Kilross happened in the early hours of December 27th last.

The man was from Eastern Europe and had been living and working in Ireland for several years.

It is understood he was living in the rented house with several other people and was attending a party in the house on St Stephen's Day.

Another man has already been charged in connection with the case.

Gardaí have said investigations are ongoing.
