Today
Wet across much of Ulster (heavy at times here) and Connacht this morning, with rain continuing to spread southeastwards this morning and early afternoon. At the same time a clearance will develop in the west and northwest later this morning, with drier brighter weather extending to most parts later; the rain last to clear the southeast. A much cooler day than of late, with highs of only 9 to 14 degrees Celsius, in a moderate to fresh northerly breeze, best values in the south.
Tonight
Some patchy drizzle in the south coast early tonight with a few showers in the north coast later. Otherwise dry with long clear spells. Some frost with a few mist or fog patches. Lowest temperatures of -1 to +2 degrees in light northerly breezes.
