Today
A breezy and showery start to the day over Northern parts but mainly dry elsewhere with any patchy frost and fog soon clearing. The showers in the North will become confined to coastal areas this morning and much of the country will have a dry day with brighter spells. Cloud will increase though in the South with the risk of rain clipping coastal parts of the South and Southeast. Top temperatures 7 or 8 degrees.
Tonight
Tonight will be mostly dry and cold with clear periods and will turn frosty as temperatures fall to between zero and minus 2 degrees. Some icy patches are likely with some mist and fog pockets.
