Rain will move into Munster and Connacht during the morning with freshening southerly winds. Elsewhere cloud will gradually increase, with rain arriving the afternoon. Some heavy spells of rain are likely at times accompanied by blustery winds. However the wind and rain will ease off later. Cold, with highest afternoon temperatures ranging 3 to 8 degrees Celsius (coldest in the north, with some hill snow here). Temperatures will rise later in the day.
