Today
Any frost in northern counties will clear quickly this morning. While northern areas will begin dry, cloud and rain in the south will spread to all areas during the forenoon. The rain will be very heavy in east Munster and Leinster with the risk of spot flooding, but it will turn more showery this afternoon. Southeast winds will be strong for a time, but will veer to the southwest later. Highest temperatures 7 to 11 degrees.
Tonight
Apart from passing showers - mainly in the west, tonight will be mostly dry with clear spells. Southwest winds will be fresh. Lowest temperatures will range 2 to 5 degrees with a slight ground frost inland.
