It's nearly five years since he played a live show of his own, but gravelly-voiced rocker Tom Waits could finally be making a return to the stage.
Booking agency William Morris Endeavor has just added the star to its client list, fuelling speculation that he's about to go back on tour - something that will be music to his fans' ears given he hasn't appeared on stage since May of last year, when he joined The Rolling Stones to perform a Howlin' Wolf cover.
Whether Ireland is on the agenda is anyone's guess - and looking at the format of recent comebacks, such as Kate Bush's 22 dates in Hammersmith, we won't be holding our breath - but for Mr Waits, it's unlikely that a quick jaunt across the Irish sea will prove too much of a barrier.
