A High Court judge has lashed out at the Quinns deviousness in scheming to put assets beyond the reach of the former Anglo Irish Bank

The judge’s comments were made as he appointed receivers over assets owned by various members of the Quinn family.

/> A former Irish Olympic coach has been found guilty this afternoon of abusing boys at a public swimming pool.

/> 51 year Ger Doyle, of Emmet Place in Wexford who was also the former manager of New Ross pool in County Wexford, was convicted by a jury at Kilkenny Circuit Court today.
The charges related to the abuse of children, aged between 10 and 15 years old, from 1981 to 1993.
The trial heard how he punished children who misbehaved by abusing them in the boiler room or his office at New Ross swimming pool.
The jury unanimously found him guilty of all 34 counts of indecent assault and one count of sexual assault.
He will be sentenced this afternoon.
