Two female gardai and a man have been injured in a road traffic collision in Limerick.

/> The incident happened in Bru na Gruadán, Castletroy, shortly after 1 o’clock this afternoon.

It’s believed the gardai’s patrol car was rammed by another car after the officers responded to an alert in the area.

It’s believed the man’s condition is serious but stable, while the condition of the two gardai is unknown.

Emergency services are at the scene.
