The Government’s to hold a Children’s Rights referendum on Saturday November 10th.
In the past few minutes the Taoiseach’s told the Dáil that the Cabinet’s now agreed the final wording.
That will be published tomorrow, alongside new adoption legislation, while a referendum commission will also be established.

Clare County Council is denying claims that it will withhold grant payments to students who haven’t paid the househld charge.
However, in a move being defended by the Education Minister, Ruairi Quinn, the Council has confirmed that it will prioritise applications from those who have paid the 100 euro tax.
Students are protesting outside Clare County Council this afternoon in a bid to force the council to reverse the decision.
While the Union of Students in Ireland have said they’ll be taking legal advice on the issue.
Independent TD, Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan, says students should not be forced to pay the price for the non-payment of the household charge:
