Trinity College in Dublin has turned green this evening as the St Patrick's Festival gets underway in the capital.

A display of doodles sketched by people from around the world will be projected onto the iconic college for the duration of the five-day celebrations.

The GPO and Christchurch Cathedral are among the other iconic buildings to turn green for the festival.
