The father of three young children who were found dead at their home in Dublin has received over 1,000 letters and postcards while in self-isolation.
The bodies of Conor, Daragh and Carla McGinley were discovered at their home in Newcastle on January 24th.
Their mother has since been charged with their murder.
In a tweet last week, their father Andrew McGinley appealed for letters - including the free to send postcards An Post has sent to homes across the country during the coronavirus.
He said he had been "struggling with isolation like you all but really missing the company".
In an update posted this week, Mr McGinley said he has since received hundreds of letters and messages from people around the country.
I possibly should have thought this through 😀
Thank you all

He said: "I am truly humbled by your letters.
"I'm truly, truly humbled by the letters I have received from hospital and medical staff who thought to write to me when they finished long shifts."
Mr McGinley has also been using Twitter to respond to some of the messages he has received so far.
Maria - thank you for the scratch card, I won a tenner 😀
Sean - I’m not a doctor so stop scratching it, apply some Sudocreme and get yourself to A&E.
Karen - ring your mother.
Only another 950 to read. Seriously enjoying this so thank you all so much.— Conors Clips (@conorsclips) March 31, 2020
