Protests are continuing in Turkey tonight despite an apology from the Country's Deputy Prime Minister over the heavy handedness of police during days of demonstrations.
He said the government had "learnt its lesson" from the disturbances in which two people were killed.
But protestors are continuing to demand that the government shelves plans to build a shopping centre on a protected green space in Istanbul.
