Two young men discovered in a shipping container in Rosslare Europort on Monday have been placed in the care of Tusla.
Nine men were found inside the container which arrived off a ship from Dunkirk in France at approximately 10.30am on Monday morning and were assessed by medical personnel.
Six of the men have been refused leave to land here.
Two of the nine are believed to be minors and are being looked after by the child and family agency.
Another man has claimed international protection and will be processed by the International Protection Office.
Gardai are treating the incident as a case of people smuggling and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
