TV presenter Melanie Sykes has told fans she is “giddy” after announcing she is engaged to boyfriend Jack Cockings.

The 42 year old star met Cockings, who is 26, online after he asked her out on a date.

Sykes has two children from her marriage to Italian actor Daniel Caltagirone which ended in 2009.
