Twelve people have died and around 50 others injured in a shooting at a cinema in Denver.
Some of those hurt were children – the youngest’s reported to be just 3 months-old.
Witnesses reported seeing a man wearing body armour enter a screening of the latest Batman film, then fire into the audience.
Some thought it was part of a stunt to promote the movie.
The gunman who was arrested at the scene told police he has explosives at home. His apartment block’s now being being searched, along with a car parked outside the cinema.
NBC is reporting the suspect is a 24-year-old man, by the name of James Holmes.
