The entertainer Adele King, better known as Twink, is offering a reward for anyone who can help find her dog Teddy, who it is believed has been kidnapped.

The Yorkshire Terrier was last seen outside the singer's house in Knocklyon in Dublin on Thursday afternoon.

In an emotional interview with the Sunday Independent, 63-year-old begged anyone with information to come forward:

"Teddy is so tiny. He is just a titch. It is like taking a baby out of a pram on its mother. What monsters do this? What monster would take a little creature? He has been taken from the bosom of his two families - his loving, caring, human family, and his animal family who you can see are devastated," Twink says

"That is an FBI question. I am an entertainer. I'm not a fucking detective. The options are taken for mischief, taken deliberately by Irish puppy farm criminals who have marked the dog as a full male dog with the three piece suite still intact for breeding purposes or people who seem to have a penchant for taking things that don't belong to them in general. I'm heartbroken."

In the article, penned by Barry Egan, Twink is quoted as telling a friend on the day after the disappearance of the dog: "I feel like the Michelle Pfeiffer character [who is drugged by her husband] in What Lies Beneath - where in that terrifying moment she's in the bath and she just manages to dislodge the plug enough to drain slowly. But then you could see her mind thinking: 'Will it drain or will I have drowned first?' I feel like that. That I'm drowning before the water ends!"
