Two men have appeared in court charged in connection with the seizure of guns and ammunition in Dublin two years ago.
The first man, aged 30, wore a grey and black tracksuit, and stood for the entirety of the hearing.
The court was told that the man was arrested on Thursday and charged today with two charges of possession of a firearm and reckless discharge of a firearm on or about January 1st 2022.
Meanwhile, the court was told that the second man, a 22-year-old, was arrested today and charged with reckless discharge of a firearm on January 1st 2022, two charges of possession of a firearm and three charges of possession of ammunition on February 10th 2022, and reckless discharge of a firearm on the same date.
Judge Michele Finan was told by the defence solicitor that both men intend to apply for bail and have deferred legal aid applications.
Both men were remanded in custody.
