Two men have been arrested following the seizure of over 100 thousand euro worth of cannabis plants in Co Carlow.

As part of on-going intelligence-led operations targeting the sale and supply of drugs, Gardaí at Tullow, seized cannabis plants worth around 115 thousand euro.

It followed the planned search of a premises at Friars Hill Grange, Tullow, at midday.

Men aged 37 and 33 were arrested at the scene and are currently being held at Carlow Garda Station under Drug Trafficking legislation.
