Two men have been arrested after herbal cannabis worth more than €3.6 million was seized in Dublin and Wexford.
Two separate consignments of drugs were found as part of intelligence-led operations on Tuesday involving Revenue's Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB).
The drugs have a combined weight of approximately 184 kgs and an estimated value of €3.68 million.
One man aged in his 60s was arrested following the seizure of 139 kgs of herbal cannabis.
He is currently being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
In a second operation, a man in his 50s was arrested following the seizure of 45 kgs of herbal cannabis and is currently being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The two men are being held at stations in the south-east and Dublin, respectively.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
