Three men have been arrested by Gardaí investigating the death of a woman following an armed robbery in Dublin last week.
54-year-old Jacqueline McGovern died in hospital after she was hit by a car on the Avondale Road in Killiney last Wednesday.
It is believed the occupants of the car were fleeing the scene of a robbery in Dalkey at the time.
Just after 9pm that evening, three men threatened staff and robbed a sum of cash at the Centra on the Barnhill Road.
They fled the scene and seemingly lost control of the car, hitting Ms McGovern and another woman, on Avondale Road.
This morning Gardaí arrested two men, both aged in their 20s, in connection with the investigation.
They are being held at Dun Laoghaire and Dundrum Garda Stations.
A third man in his 20s was arrested later this morning and brought to Dundrum Garda Station.
