Gardai investigating an assault on a 30 year-old man on Aston Quay in Dublin on St Patrick's Day have arrested two teenagers.

The 16 and 17 year boys were arrested earlier this evening in the Dublin 2 area.

They are currently been detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Pearse Street Garda Station.
