Two men have been arrested following the seizure of firearms and cannabis worth €41,900 in Ballinteer, Co Dublin. 

One of the men has been charged and will appear in court tomorrow morning, while the second man has been released without charge. 

Gardaí seized 2kg of suspected cannabis herb and jellies and two firearms from a house in Ballinteer, Dublin 16, on June 28th. 

The firearms were made safe, and the seized items were sent to the Garda Ballistics Unit for further analysis. 

The seized drugs have been sent to Forensic Science Ireland. 

Investigations are ongoing.
