Two men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with the discharge of a firearm and assault in Louth.
The incident happened at a residential location near Dundalk, Co Louth, at roughly 8.30pm on July 19th.
Three men – two aged in their 20s and one in their 50s – were injured.
The two men in their 20s were brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
One man in his 20s was arrested under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
The other, also in his 20s, was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Investigations are ongoing.
