Two bodies have been found at a house in Co Cavan.
The man and woman - both aged in their 40s - were discovered yesterday evening at a house in Cloverhill, close to Belturbet.
It’s understood the alarm was raised after the man and woman hadn’t been seen for a number of days.
Their deaths are being treated as unexplained, and the State Pathologist's office has been notified.
The scene has been sealed off, and post-mortem exams are due to take place later today.
Gardaí say they're investigating 'all the circumstances' surrounding the unexplained deaths, and the results of the post-mortems will determine the course of their investigations.
Initial inquiries indicate no signs of a break in or that any foul play was involved in the couple’s deaths.
