Two British politicians have been denied entry and deported from Israel.
The Israeli immigration ministry said the Labour MPs were rejected because they were suspected of plans to "document the activities of security forces" and "spread anti-Israel hatred".
Abtisam Mohamed and Yuan Yang said they were visiting Israel as part of an official parliamentary delegation, a statement which has been backed by the UK Foreign Office.
However, the Israeli immigration ministry branded this as "false", and said the delegation had not been acknowledged by any Israeli official.
UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy said the MPs' detention while on a parliamentary delegation to Israel was "unacceptable".
It follows Sinn Féin MEP Lynn Boylan's deportation from Israel while part of an an EU delegation earlier in the year.
