Two men were both charged in connection with two separate drug seizures in Dublin Airport over the past week.
Approximately €260,000 of suspected cannabis was seized during a Garda and Revenue Customs joint operation at Dublin Airport on April 5th.
The seizure occurred at approximately 4:40pm following the search of a suitcase.
A man in his 30s who was flying in from Spain was arrested at the scene and detained at a Garda Station in the Dublin region.
Another man in his 20s was charged in connection with a seizure of suspected cocaine worth at the airport on March 31st.
The seizure was made by Gardaí and Revenue Officers at approximately 7:40pm on Sunday 31st March 2024 after the man had disembarked from a flight.
The seizures are part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
