A teenage boy and a man in his 60s have died in separate fatal road crashes in Northern Ireland.
The man in his 60s died yesterday evening after a crash with a lorry on the Newry Road, Poyntzpass, near the border between Counties Down and Armagh.
The man died at the scene of the crash and no other serious injuries were reported.
The Newry Road remained closed this morning for technical examination.
A 17-year-old boy also died on the roads in Northern Ireland in a single-vehicle road crash last night.
PSNI said it happened at the Banbridge Road, Rathfriland, Newry, at roughly 2.30am.
A 19-year-old man who was also in the vehicle has been taken to hospital for serious injuries.
The Banbridge Road was closed but has now reopened following the incident.
Some 23 people have died on Northern Irish roads so far this year, compared to 27 by the same time last year.
