Two members of the Defence Forces have been injured during parachute training.

They sustained injuries on landing during routine parachute display team training in the Defence Forces Training Centre earlier.

Their injuries were non-life threatening and both personnel were transferred to hospital by Defence Forces Ambulance.

They are both in a stable condition.

The Defence Forces says an investigation is ongoing as per standard operational procedures.

The parachute display team is made up of members from all ranks and services of the Defence Forces.
