Two men are due in court after a car chase across Dublin yesterday afternoon.
The chase began shortly after 1pm yesterday after a car failed to stop for Gardaí.
Investigators said a managed containment operation was launched; however, the car crashed into a motorbike in the Rathfarnham area.
The motorcyclist was taken to Tallaght Hospital to be treated for their injuries and the car failed to remain at the scene.
The car was later involved in a collision with a Garda vehicle in the Tallaght area – where it finally came to a stop.
Two men in their 20s and late teens were arrested alongside a teenage boy.
A woman was also arrested at the scene for public order offences.
This morning, Gardaí charged two men. They are due before Tallaght District Court this morning.
A teenage boy was released without charge pending a referral to the Garda Youth Diversion Programme.
A woman was released without charge pending adult caution.
Gardaí are asking anyone who may have seen the car chase to come forward.
They are particularly interested in talking to drivers travelling in the Rathfarnham and Tallaght areas between 1pm and 2pm and may have dashcam footage.
