Two people are due in court this morning over the death of a man whose body was found in a remote quarry in Wexford over the weekend.
27-year-old Stephen Ring was found dead at the quarry at Shelmalier Commons on Sunday.
He had been reported missing from his home in Clonard, County Wexford on Tuesday, October 15th.
Gardaí now believe he was assaulted and suffered a violent death shortly after he was last seen.
A post-mortem has since been completed by State Pathologist Sally Ann Collis; however, the results are not being released for operational reasons.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s were arrested and questioned on Sunday.
They have now been charged and are due before Wexford District Court this morning.
