Two men have been hospitalised following a two-car crash in Carlow. 

It happened on the R724 near Bagenalstown yesterday at around 5pm. 

The men aged in their 40s and 60s were taken to St Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny for treatment. 

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing. 

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward. 

They are particularly interested in anyone with dashcam footage who was driving in the area at the time.
