Two people have been killed and up to seven wounded in a drive-by shooting at a rap music video set in the US.
The film set near Houston in Texas was “ambushed” at around 3am Irish time.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said shots had been fired across several blocks of the street being used by the filmmakers.
He said it is not clear how many gunmen were involved.
Police have yet to establish a motive and any connection to gang violence has yet to be ruled out.
“All of the sudden, basically they were ambushed, we believe, by individuals in cars and/or on foot,” said Sheriff Gonzalez.
“This is a very serious situation. This is a residential neighbourhood. A lot of shots were fired.”
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene and at least four have suffered serious injuries.
Scenes of crime specialists have recovered evidence from a car park where the video's producers had based themselves.
