Police are advising motorists that the Drum Road between Cookstown and Omagh, Co. Tyrone is currently closed following a serious road traffic collision.

The collision, involving two vehicles occurred at approximately 9.40pm last night. Three males and one female were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries, which are described as serious - their ages are not known.

Diversions are in place.

Diversions

Omagh-bound traffic is being diverted via the Pomeroy Rd and Glenarny Road back onto Drum Road and Cookstown Bound traffic is being diverted via the Upper Kildress Road, Tullagh Road and Orritor Road.
