Gardaí have arrested two men following an armed robbery in Sligo on Thursday.
Two men wearing balaclavas, and armed with a knife and hammer, entered a business at Deepwater Quay at around 12.00pm.
They threatened staff, demanded money and left with a sum of cash.
However Gardaí have said no one was injured.
Officers conducted searches and arrested two men, aged 19 and 24, in the Sligo area on Thursday afternoon.
They were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Ballymote Garda Station.
A car and items connected with the robbery were also seized for examination.
Both men are scheduled to appear before a special sitting of Sligo District Court later.
