Two men are due in court this evening over the seizure of drugs worth around €715,000 in west Dublin.
Gardaí uncovered the drugs at around 6:30pm yesterday on foot of an intelligence-led operation targeting organised crime.
It came after officers from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau intercepted two vehicles in the Ballyfermot area.
As a result of this, a number of follow up searches were conducted in the Ballyfermot and Lucan areas.
Cocaine and cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €715,000 were seized.
Two men - aged 33 and 20 - were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking.
They were taken to Ballyfermot Garda Station for questioning and have since been charged.
They are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this evening.
