Two men have been arrested in Dublin in connection with a burglary in Co Mayo.
Gardaí arrested the men, who are aged in their mid-20s and early-30s, today in Tallaght.
They also recovered property which they believe was stolen in Aghamore, Ballyhaunis, on August 1st.
Gardaí in Claremorris launched an investigation after a motorcycle and a number of power tools were stolen from a property in the area.
Two suspects were identified in the Tallaght area of Dublin following extensive enquiries and the viewing of CCTV footage.
Warrants were obtained under Section 48 of the Criminal Justice Theft and Fraud Offences Act 2001 at a number of properties in Tallaght by Gardaí from Claremorris District with the assistance of officers from Tallaght.
During the course of these searches, a number of power tools were recovered.
Among the items located were tools which are believed to have been stolen from Aghamore in August.
Gardaí say their inquiries are ongoing in relation to the other property recovered.
The two men arrested today were subsequently charged in connection with the burglary at Aghamore and are due to appear before Castlebar District Court next Wednesday.
