Six men have been arrested in connection to the death of a man whose body was found near a playground in Bray, County Wicklow.
Two men, in their 20s and 40s, were arrested yesterday evening as part of the Garda investigation into the death of William Moorehouse, and are still being held at a Garda station in County Wicklow.
Four further men have been arrested today following seven searches carried out by Gardaí under warrants – one male juvenile, two men in their 20s and one man in his 30s.
The four men are currently detained at Garda stations in the Wexford/Wicklow division.
The body of Mr Moorehouse, in his 30s, was discovered on Boghall Road shortly after 6pm on Sunday, January 19th.
It is thought that Mr Moorehouse, who is understood to be a father of six, died after he was stabbed but Gardaí will await for the results of a post-mortem examination before determining the course of their investigation.
A full examination of the scene has been carried out by the Garda Technical Bureau and the cordon has been lifted.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
