A man has been stabbed to death in north Dublin this evening.
It is believed the man, aged in his late 30s, was stabbed outside a house on Collins Place in Finglas just after 7pm.
Emergency services were called and treated the man at the scene; however, he was later pronounced dead.
Two men, both aged in their 30s, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and they are now being held at Finglas and Blanchardstown Garda Stations.
The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination and the body remains at the scene.
Gardaí have launched a murder investigation are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
It is the second violent death in Dublin today.
This morning, a woman in her 40s was found dead in her apartment at Royal Canal Park in Ashtown.
A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
