Gardaí investigating the death of Dylan McCarthy outside a pub in County Kildare last year have charged two men.
The 29-year-old from Kilmallock in County Limerick was put on life support after an “altercation involving a group of people” outside the pub on the Dublin Road in Monasterevin on August 21st.
He later died in hospital.
It is understood he had travelled to Kildare to celebrate the birth of a baby in the family and his father was also injured in the incident.
This morning, Gardaí investigating the incident said they had charged two men, both in their 20s.
They are due before Naas District Court later on this morning.
