Two men have been arrested after a service station was robbed in north Dublin.
It happened in Portmarnock at around 9.00pm on Friday night.
One man entered the premises, armed with a knife and threatened staff.
He left the shop with a sum of cash.
The man met with a second man and they both left the scene.
In a follow-up search of the area, Gardaí found the men hiding and they were arrested.
Officers were assisted by a number of units - including the Garda Dog Unit and the Air Support Unit.
Both men are detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Swords and Coolock Garda stations.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
